Universe is filled with feminity, In fact in one of the schools of thoughts in India, everything that is manifested is considered feminine and that which is unmanifested is considered masculine - Prakruti and Purusha. This is because, Prakruti - the Nature as we see is filled with expressions of Love - Birds singing, Rivers flowing, Mothers of all species taking care of their young ones, And Mother's Love is considered the purest form of Love and that is a complete expression of Feminity. Sharing and caring is an innate part of Feminity. Men and Women both have this aspect because they inherit these qualities from their mothers. Women express this more generously, Men need to kindle it and nurture more.
I consider the International Day of Women is more a recognition and a reminder to nurture this notion of Feminity that this existence is bestowed with. This is why both Men and Women need to celebrate this day with full fervor. It is to be done with a sense of kindling that aspect in each of us that makes us kind hearted, filled with expressions of artistic beauty, caring for each other, Respecting the Nature and seeing everything with Reverence.
